Breaking FREE!
GROUPPurpose:
To join with like minded individuals to practice changing obsessive, negative thinking
into a positive, peaceful mind set and in order to regain healing in our lives.
loving intention is truly miraculous!
The power of joint,When:
To meet once a week regularly for the best reinforcement—however, individual members
can attend irregularly if their schedule demands this.
Length of meeting:
One hour. This will keep the meeting ‘tight’ and on focused.
Where to meet:
Home, office, even a restaurant as long a small sense of some privacy can be attained.
Suggested format of meeting:
NOTE: Start meeting on time! This is really important. Chronic late comers will just
have to adjust.
1. Hold hands and set prayerful intention: ( i.e. “We join together to help each other
find peace of mind.”)
2. In turn, each individual shares briefly! (1-2mins. tops) WHAT WENT
past week and any positive insights gained.
3. Then in turn, each individual states the present issue needing healing. (i.e. “I am obsessively
worried about____1-3 words____” OR “I feel angry or sad, jealous, unworthy, rejected,
fearful etc. about___1-3words_____”)
RIGHT thisIMPORTANT POINT: This is not about repeating the drama detail by detail; nor is
this a ’bitching’ session about how unfair a situation is. The process is about simply recognizing
OUR state of mind which is in need of healing and peace.
4. Now each in turn states what they would like to feel/receive for healing. (i.e. “I want
to feel loved, or included, or compassionate, or courageous about the previous stated issue)
5. The group once more holds hands and holds a short
willingness to receive peace and healing.
6. While still holding hands the group repeats together an affirmation: i.e. “I affirm the
Universe knows how to bring me peace and healing and I now accept this!”
(30 sec—1 min) silence of innerEnding the meeting:
At this point the meeting should feel completed so that individuals can continue their
regular daily routine. No more group ‘discussions’ should occur—but individuals can share on
their own time as they please.
